Holly cow, it's getting truly good.  Too bad it isn't real time, like ray-tracing, text goes in, it takes a lot of time before audio comes out, but unlike existing speech synthesizers, speech constructed from samples with simple pitch / speed / and inflection just done by algorithm or manually set, this is genuine 100% plain text being read and emphasized like the human reader it was trained from...

Funny you should mention real-time.

Something like 3 weeks after that paper came out, a 1000 times faster one was published that is 20x faster than real-time
