These are two parts out of a documentary about electronic musical instruments. Enjoy the eye candy.
The last thing Moby says is quite interesting.

I couldn't help but notice that Moby speaks like a pubescent valley girl...reminds me of my hippy little sister lol. I suppose that makes him an authority on "cool". ::)

Nevertheless, interesting videos.

Some seriously esoteric drum machines there!

Very clean installation. I wonder if he's nerd enough to make his own cables and do all his own wiring? I liked his slide out dj rig! Saw a few pieces of gear I have in my "collection."  :D

Yeah Moby with his government approved dance music and then holding forth with authority because he released one good single and made a career out of it.
Such a great musician that he buys musical instruments and doesn't even play them! He is not cool.
The bulk of those machines cannot be "played" as they do not have a internal sequencer or any means of external control. As stated in the video, he samples the sounds into the computer where he can then manipulate & sequence them using modern DAW software.

Where did the guy with the valuable opinion go?? I was just about to ask him if he made anything better.
Oh well forum angels working diligently today.
