. It's the storm season. I mean it's definitely surprising and all, but after all the floods brisbane has had, this was over much quicker and fewer people were hurt.
Apparently the State Emergency Services (SES, a government organised group of volunteers who go to help people with damaged houses etc during storms) received almost 1500 calls in the space of a few hours. But they couldn't do anything straight away, because if you took your car outside the windshield would likely be smashed.
