New toy for soldering small parts.

I got this thing recently. Its an Optetec magnifier. It comes with a table that slides around so you can mount parts to it then press a button and lock them in place. As you can see it magnifies the resistors to about 18" wide so the smallest surface mount parts are visible I also didn't know those little parts had writing on them. You can also make it black and white or other high contrast modes for seeing things that are normally invisible.

It costs a few grand. How does this compare to other devices made specifically for electronics? This seems better but I haven't played with many. You can also send the signal to a camera or a bigger HDMI screen for more detail.
