For those that don't know (like me at first)
Up the top of the page there is a botten marked "Webcast"
Click on that and then you can start the video stream.

Or you can watch the video directly on NASA's Youtube channel.

About 10 minutes until the official launch coverage begins.
It's only when you look at an ant through a magnifying glass on a sunny day, that you realise how often they burst into flames.

7 minutes to planned launch time and they are now at NO GO for launch due to an anomaly not yet elaborated on.
Currently holding on the T minus 4 minutes point of the countdown due to the NO GO status.
Heres hoping they get it sorted ok.

Problem sorted, launch condition is GO and the countdown has been reset for about 14 minutes from now at 28 minutes past the hour.

EDIT:
Final countdown underway now.
T minus 3 minutes and counting

Apparently it is not easy to launch a rocket.

Launch officially scrubbed

With this last hold they have run out of time in the launch window
Apparently they will try for a 24 hour turn around to try again.

I've seen the movie, this doesn't end well

The other one was a pretty bumpy ride too... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunshine_(2007_film)

I have to say, looking at the images of Parker - the size of that heatshield vs the aspect ratio of the probe looks exciting for an autonomous probe, plenty of opportunities for burning your own tail off there. The idea of 'peeking' out just enough water cooled solar panel to meet its power needs looks interesting too.

Here we go again for the second attempt to launch.

Just under 10 minutes for offical launch coverage to begin on the Youtube stream I linked above.

Shame they don't have the on-board camera arrays that Space-X has.
