Remote Access Software

I need a good and secure Remote Access Software for my home desktop. This is so I can access it from anywhere with the internet. I don’t mind paying a little money. Anyone have any recommendation? Oh... it is for Windows machine.

I hear great things about http://www.gotomypc.com/
On the free side:
http://www.tightvnc.com/  should work ok. Also, windows' built in remote desktop works quite well on Windows 7 at least.
