Well done!  I figured someone would recognize it.

I recently brought my kids to OMSI on a trip to Portland and we did the tour of the Sub.  Very cool. I had no idea that these subs were basically EV's!  - serial hybrids (like my Volt) -they ran electric when deep and surfaced to run generators to charge the enormous battery banks.  Some serious DC amps coming out of those diesel generators.

A lot of instrumentation. I have no idea what that Tektronix DSO was doing there - obviously not original equipment on these vintage subs. It had a sine wave displayed. Maybe just to look cool for the visitors?

OMSI?  Ive lived in Portland all my life and only visited there once when I was a kid.  Maybe it's time to go back and check those out!

Or read the exif data in the photo :P

Apparently the radio room is used by a local ham radio club, this probably explains the new stuff.

Yeah, I've taken my kids there a few times. Lots of neat stuff - mostly aimed at kids- but the sub tour was the best. Definitely worth the trip.
