dSPACE DS2003 A/D Board - Reed Relay

dSPACE DS2003 A/D Board

There're two onboard A/D converters (BB PCM78).
If you look at the attached image below (click the image for enlarged view), there are two reed relays (Hamlin HE721C0510). Does anyone have idea what is the function of the reed relay in this A/D board?

Probably to change the input gain or channel mapping. It's common to use tiny relays to select input attenuators in oscilloscopes.
