Some gas is not flammable. But if that is acetylene and oxygen, that guy is a dumb ass.

Neither looks like an acetylene cylinder and they're a fair distance away, but nonetheless, I would try to shoot my grinding sparks in a direction other than right at them...

Flux inductor ?
It's for Liliput. Alligator clip the size of ma finger, DPAK's sticking up in the air, might need a CPU :palm:

None of those things are necessarily a problem, and you may remove the CPU if you suspect it may overvolt. The real problem is that all of the DMM indicators are on, which is clearly not normal operation. :-DD

EDIT: ...and the fact that you would get no continuity on either of those inductors since the wire is enamled and if it was damaged you'd probably need to replace them anyway. :palm:

I just found this gem.

Yes. You have 1999 HIGH VOLTS on a CAT II  :-DD 1000V  :-DD meter, and it also shows the only way probes dont work.

Actually the 10 A input provides a perfect low impedance path to the COM terminal so it would work, funny nonetheless.  :P

This stock image was ok and has been used on a book:

But when our national electric provider must choose and edit an image to use for the "request an inspection" page on their website a new image fail is born.

In the best scenario, she should be doing something like piercing the case with the probes to touch the screws.

I did not expect this kind of things from a national provider :palm:

I really like this new solder wire dispenser, but these new lead free solder compounds takes ages to melt:

that card looks immaculately designed - I'll make a guess it's a Matrox. I still have a couple of their older cards for keepsakes, and their array of resistors are always arranged perfectly in a grid-like layout.

This gem accompanied a newspaper article today:

(here is the article: http://spravy.pravda.sk/ekonomika/clanok/413847-zlacnenie-elektriny-zavisi-od-isticov-v-dome/ - it talks about electricity prices being dependent on the size of the circuit breakers in the home)

Gotta love that cheapo meter. Oh and the guy forgot to turn it on as well ...

he's using his fingers to PROBE the problem....

 :-DD
I never thought I would see a gaff like this from the ARRL....

good grief! a lark's head to secure the back D ring on a harness... no no!

but she's got REALLY strong right biceps to hang on in this position to use a walkie talkie...  |O

This little gem made the news here recently. It's just one of many, many failures which is Australia's National Broadband Network (NBN).

For those with a keen eye, it appears the girls torso just disappears under the controller. Then there is a controller itself, now I'm not a gamer, but apparently that PlayStation controller was from the mid-2000's and didn't come with a micro USB port (it has been photo-shopped in to replace the cable).

But, what else would we expect from a Government-owned company who thinks that in 2018, using old, corroded copper phone lines for broadband is perfectly fine. Their idea of "fast internet for everyone" is misleading, apparently 25 Mbps downstream is enough for anyone (and that's if your shitty phone lines can support such blazing speeds!)

I think the NBN photo is fine - it is just the result of the distortions caused by a wide angle lens close to the face. It is just a normal couple of Aussie kids happy because another packet of bytes has finally arrived via the NBN. They have probably been waiting days for it.

It's think that smoke must be some really strong drug that eliminates pain...

Well, as a real solderer female told me, never wear tights and a miniskirt when soldering. (Not that I've tried it) That is a sure recipe for YIKES!!! and prancing round the room in pain.  :scared:

I find it amusing that the Victorians, one of the most prudish societies ever, based a lot of their culture on one of the most sexually perverted societies ever. Of course the naughtier examples of Greek pottery etc were kept hidden from the view of all but a few knowledgeable historians. That, and the Victorians thought the Greeks loved the cool look of marble architecture. In fact, they used it for its structural properties and painted it bright colours. :wtf:
