 I just spent an hour when I meant to finish checking everything here  :-DD
Mainly skimming to see if he had anything remotely like that strange encoder wheel I posted a few months back, which I have still been unsuccessful at finding anywhere. There is a ton of interesting stuff on Glenn's site.

Nice site, another rabbit hole to disappear down in the early hours.

Looks like a hell of a lot of electronics to control a 'simple' jet engine, ISTR the Harrier engines used something that looked an awful lot like the Lucas ECU off a Rover ;)
