DS1052E Delayed Trigger Problem after Hack

Sorry to make my first post a question, but I've got a real problem: after I hacked my DS1052E to the 100Mhz DS1102E, the trigger delay no longer works.

It locks onto a pulse and turning the HORZ knob moves the 'T' point and the pulse edge to the left. But just after I stop turning the knob, the pulse edge jumps back to the center. As far as I can tell this is the only problem.

I've de-hacked the model and serial numbers back to the DS1052E but it doesn't help.
