Well when you lock the "robot" down to a single location, indoors with no or very little wind, and then tweak its motions until it hits dead center you would be surprised if it didn't make 100% of the shots.  Back in the day the Detroit bad boys would have had some fun with the robot and when you next looked it would have been stripped of it's parts and sitting on concrete blocks!

Lame.
You would expect a robot to throw a more repeatable shot from a fixed location that a human. Make it move randomly and shoot a hoop every time and then I might be impressed.
