Just FYI: There is a new uCurrent gold Clone/ Derivative called tinyCurrent with some nice features like a BNC connector and possibility to more than double the dynamic range:

That's an example that's more in the spirit of open source hardware: don't call it by the same (trademarked) name, credit the original creator, and most importantly, make improvements.

Here's another iteration that Andreas Spiess had in his last mailbag:

IMO it's an over complification of a simple idea, it's almost another beast.

Andreas said he'd do a review soon

I was not aware that the ucurrent name has a trademark. I had created the design for my own use i am just selling the few extra boards that were created in the process. Unfortunately Dave does not ship to India that is the reason i made these boards. I will be releasing the full design files created in Eagle. I have also added the filter caps to the design to address the issue reported by Dave. On tindie uCurrent Gold pcb are also available which also have the trademark info    on them is that legal also since Dave has published the gerber files which have the uCurrent on silk screen and if someone makes them are they infringing the trademark?

Because some people have asked, here is an example use of the n-fuse tinyCurrent R Version. It allows to be attached directly to a scope with a BNC-to-BNC adapter.

Not if you make it, but if you sell it, yes.

Wrong.
I own Current Ranger and I can tell you this is a far superioir device to measure current if current is changing, i.e. for example a sensor is going into a sleep mode.
