user name

my user name and password was removed from the eevblog forum anybody have this happen to them?

I would thing one of two things.

1. You've been banned and Dave chose to just delete your name alltogether...

or 2. which is more likely.....

2. You signed up as a member between the time the server was functioning fine, backup was saved, then server went all wonky on everything and was rerolled back to it's last save point. In that case, I would think that anyone, not just you, would have been lost in computer space.

In another thread, joedz said he has been a member of this forum "for years".
It does seem extraordinarily odd.

I didn't loose my name/account, but a rather lengthy post I made a day or two ago just disappeared into the ether.
Oh well.  That is the interweb for you.

ya, that is odd. 

Even if he was banned, I don't think Dave would just delete the name....maybe change his password so he couldn't log on, but not delete the name.

Joedz, I would try emailing Dave and see what's up with that.
