I keep forgetting to ask this: what do you people think about these Circuit Specialists? Ok, so it's pretty clear they're selling some rebadged Chinese stuff, but has anyone here ever used their rework stations?

Yes.. I use their cheap Sirocco unit, had it for about 2 years. Seems fine, I don't do alot of rework however. But I do use it fairly regularly. I don't like the all in one units however as a general rule so I won't buy one. It does have a fan, and a heater so those will deteriorate over time. I expect to replace it in a few years as these types of things don't last forever.

I agree, the all in one units are trouble.
I am in an awkward situation at the moment, as my MBT250 control unit decided to quit on me, and I was thinking about getting the Circuit Specialists' TH desoldering station as I have a fair number of iMacs whose caps need changing, and the customer will be phoning about them by the end of the week. After that I'll just repair the control unit, but now there is no time.
In another thread I tried getting info about easily available desoldering stations with a straight handpiece (like my SX90 Sodr-X-Tractor), but I am quickly running out of time and am getting desperate enough to get the CS unit, gun-shape handpiece and all.

Yes, I read that, thanks. However, I have decided to stop buying Weller, and in any case Weller is too expensive to get just as a 2-3 week tide-over.
I quite like Hakko, Pace, JBC, but at the moment it's probably easier and quicker to get something cheap and easily available in the UK.
