I just wanted to stop and say “Thank You” to a lot of members on this forum.
I recently was reminded that life is short and sometimes we do not appreciate what we have, nor the help that others have given you. I have spent a lot of hours over the past two weeks in hospice care watching my mother drift away. Doctors are now telling us it is only a matter of days. Really comes home to you and reminds you just how short this life is.
I have already said thank you to Dave in private but thanks again.
Before I found EEVblog I was sort of lost in old school technology, and would have never posted anything on YouTube.
There are so many folks here that have inspired me to push further and step out on a limb if you will.
It has been a year since I posted my first video then went a while without doing any. But now I have 14 videos and over 90 subscribers. I am getting lots of emails and messages from folks and nice comments.
All this really started happening about a month ago.
I know my first videos suck. Had no idea what I was doing.
Well to me all my videos suck, and I talk funny. Folks send me messages because they cannot figure out my accent and where in this big world I am. Just an old country boy on the east coast of NC. And to add impaired speech do to a brain seizure I had 4 years ago.
Anyway enough rambling. Just hope my channel continues to grow. And a big thanks to those that have supported me. Without an audience the channel means nothing. You guys know who you are.
They first year has been shaky but fun. And maybe I will get better as time moves forward.
You guys and the greatest and I appreciate all that you all do.
