Voyager 2 leaves Heliosphere, reaches Interstellar Space

After Voyager 1 reached interstellar space in 2012, Voyager 2 has also left the heliosphere.

I was always fascinated by the Voyager missions, and the frenzy to build them to exploit the planetary constellation back then. This enabled the "slingshot" acceleration passing from one large planet to the next.

Congrats, NASA.

That was my response too. "Again?"

I don't mind though. NASA can use the publicity and it's cool to hear about the ongoing mission.

Indeed. I've been following both of them since the 1980s and it's been an amazing journey.

I figure this is just our understanding of our solar system that is changing every time this happens.
