Watch peoples web cams from around the world:

Hundreds of open web cams of all kinds of places all live. I wonder if they knew who was watching them?

My question is how much porn is on that.

My next question is where is it? For a friend.

I forget who I am sometimes, but then I remember that it's probably not worth remembering.

Hehe.

I just had a glance through some of those cameras and many seem to be in locations where you can't really see anything 'revealing'. Therefore I wouldn't be surprised if some people aren't bothered whether the cameras are publicly accessible or not.

This one is currently filming some empty boxes. I wonder what its purpose is? http://www.insecam.org/en/view/457872/

Even a basic NAT router would stop them from being accessible like that.

You need one if you want to be a Twitch live host or whatever (YouTube, etc.) live show host.
You also want one if you run a game server at home.
Most professional gamers (those living on their gaming income) need both of those above.

But wouldn't the camera still be internal, and you only stream when you need to?  Ex: you push the data to the stream servers, not everyone pulling directly from you.

As a side note I can't seem to actually get that site to work, the feeds don't load.  I'm on Linux, so guessing it's using ActiveX or something.

Professional gaming is actually a fairly large industry. Not just E-Sports teams (CS:GO competitions and the like), but also gaming youtubers. The Yogscast, a youtube (group?) that started off doing WoW and Minecraft have now raked in almost 9 million pounds in 2016, and have 6.7m GBP in assets and 5.9m GBP in equity.

I mean those are pretty good numbers for what is essentially an office full of people playing video games.

Even PewDiePie, who made his fame screaming at trending games, or games that he made trending, has had multi million dollar salaries from his 55+ million subscribers, the most on the platform.

You are missing out some are pretty interesting, except the camera for those empty plastic boxes. I wonder what they used to have in them? Gold? Rare star wars figurines?

I just had another browse through that site.

I'm surprised at the number of barber shops there seem to be. They all looked quite fancy, with lots of people faffing with cell phones, who didn't look like they really needed a hair cut anyway.

There were also quite a few churches.

This one got my attention. Given the outside view which was provided, I guess this is a residential place, but the number of computer monitors and other equipment intrigued me. I wonder whose/what it is. Radio stuff perhaps?

Used to be you could search for the text used on the camera's internal web page with Google and come up with all sorts of them. I found an Axis PTZ camera in someone's livingroom once, I was able to zoom in and read the address on a utility bill that was on the coffee table. I moved the camera around a few times while some guy was on the sofa watching TV and then the next day it was locked with a password, I think that was around 12 years ago.

A young one armed woman folding washing in a laundrette in France while a muslim lady reads some paperwork and another lady looks out the window.  Live.  What a weird world we live in.
