Now that we have discovered a method to generate a continuous stream maser with room temperature components you can get yourself, what kind of new interesting things can I do with one?

Perhaps:
1. Cheap and fast chemical analysis
2. Chemical synthesis
3. Specialized communications
4. Micro-scale assembly and welding
5. Micro-scale disassembly and abrasion

That's sounds interesting.  Also sounds like big $$$.

Diamond?

I thought masers ran on those weird pink crystals.

MASER?   I'm not seeing any "Microwave Amplification" going on since they're triggering the event with a "green" LASER.   I'd also like to know a lot more about what the Microwave output frequency was and what kind of coherence it had. Spatial and temporal coherence is what makes a LASER so useful.
