Bringing drawing format into a PCB from a dxf or dwg file.
« on: October 30, 2017, 02:02:08 pm »
In CS, I'm trying to import a dxf file into to a pcboard mechanical layer.  When I import it change the board dimensions.  Suggestions?

Thanks
Andy

During import, you need to tell CS which units the file is in, see attached.

DXF is a truly terrible format for data interchange.

The format is in Visio.  Any suggestions how to avoid DXF/DWG?

CS should let me paste from Visio.

Thx
Andy
