[SOLVED] Re-using a simple circuit

Hi all,

Ok, the ATMEGA328P core circuit with oscillator and ICSP header is really useful for me.

I have the circuit laid down in Schematic, is there any way to save this as a "block" which can be imported into future schematics?

It would be a real timesaver to have this simple core saved as a "part" or "block" which can be dropped into a design.

Possible?

Save as a separate document, and then Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V when you need it.

Wow, it is that simple... Do the components need to be left un-annotated, or will the component IDs update ok?
Is it the same for the PCB layout?

Components should be renumbered automatically.

I'm not sure about copying PCB layout. Unless you have extremely sparse board, you will have to do layout for each board anyway.
