Title: 37 Sensors and a CGMICROKIT
Post by: 37Sensors on August 01, 2018, 10:11:21 pm
Ever look for information on the small electronic modules that you can buy on Amazon, Ebay, and AliExpress? I've been using them for years and each time I have to do a bit of research to find information on them.

So I've started collecting all of my notes and posting them to a collection of information on 37sensors.com. I've included the basic technical information I've discovered on the sensors in the typical "37 sensors" kit that you can buy. Now I'm adding some example usage of those devices using the CGMICROKIT. I'll be adding more types of devices, like radio communication modules, Real-Time Clocks, SPI and I2C interface devices, LCD, ultrasonic distance sensors, etc. I'm making this a way to share my notes with others, and I'm hoping students in STEM studies that need to make sensor projects will benefit from this effort.

I'm hoping that other people that have used the modules in the 37 sensor kits and other similar modules would be willing to stop by and share any knowledge about specific modules that they may have. Look at the picture above - If you have used this type of module you could share something that could help others.

To sweeten the pot and to draw in more people to use these 37 sensor kits, 37sensors.com is having a giveaway of 37 sensors, and a CGMICROKIT.

Great idea and nicely done. I've misplaced some of the interface docs for LCDs and some other little modules. Over time, as these things evolve, it may become hard to find information for earlier variations, especially for more complex modules with many components on them. Then, you'd have to trace out the PCB to try to figure out what's what.

Note that your post mentioned an image, but it doesn't seem to have shown up.

Not sure what happened to the image.

It was this: http://www.37sensors.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/kits600.jpg (http://www.37sensors.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/kits600.jpg)

Ah, OK. You can edit your original post to add it in.

Open to residents US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.  :-+

Going to send this link to someone I know will distribute it more, too burned out by contests to enter myself.

Not updated and not well translated, but could be a source to glean a bit more information. Thanks.
