Oh, the "whys" of the datasheets... The information is there not to be an axiomatic truth, but instead each speck of data must be slowly inhaled while carefully performing a deep search inside oneself to find the true metaphysical sense...

Hi guys,

Did any of you also get a blank screen after submission on the website?
There is thus no confirmation that the submission was received (no email sent either).

Thanks,
Ryl

Yeah, I don't know why they made the page scroll down below the text you're supposed to see. :palm:

I put in an entry fairly early about how such a supply would be useful with a project I am working on - but that was in the early design and construction phase ... and the arguments weren't particularly compelling.

But then I got into the testing and debugging phase - and man, would I have loved to have that beastie on my bench!  The trouble is, I didn't have the time to revise and submit my new entry - and now the contest is drawing to a close.

I don't know if I will be able to try for one last Hurrah ... but I am thinking about it.

Well, I've thrown my last hat into the ring.  Even though it's the morning of the 27th here, it's still the afternoon of the 26th in the USA - so I hope it's within the time limit.  I did get the "Thank you" page after submission.

It's just a text only entry - but is comes from a current experience (no pun intended) where the E36312A would have made life a heck of a lot easier.

I'm not holding my breath - but, hey, you've gotta be in it to win it.

Brumpy, good luck. I also submitted on 26th later in the evening. However, in the general terms and conditions they mention:

2. Promotion Period. This promotion begins on August 28, 2017 at 12:00 Noon PST and ends on January 26, 2018 at 4:00 pm PST, (“Promotion Period”), before which all entries must be received.

What puzzles me more is that they don't list any winner after the 18th week. Nobody applied?  ::)

Anyway, it is really great that they are doing this. Some years ago nobody would talk to hobbyists. Now every second company makes arduino shields, promotions and competitions. That's perfect  :-+.

I worked it out that my submission was around 2pm PST, so I should have made that deadline.  Double check if you like - it went in about 10-15 minutes before my post above.

Just wondering how long one should wait before uttering that last sign of resignation....

Hard to say. This contest was a bit of a black hole as far as communication goes. It felt more like a secret mission than a new product promotion. Hopefully, if they do another one, it'll be improved.

Although Scope Month was a bit bumpy in the beginning, there was significant interaction with the community and corresponding improvement. Last year's Scope Month was fun even if you didn't win anything.

How do you do multiple entries? Just enter again the following week? Do you need to change the entry from week to week or can you send the same entry again?

The point is moot.  This competition finished more than a week ago.

As far as I am aware, you could submit as many entries and as often as you liked.  Each would be assessed on its merits.

I made a final attempt too, but at this point it seems I will have to accept my entry didn't appeal to the judges. I do appreciate the contest though, and hope Keysight will do this more often. It was nice that almost everyone could participate, without any limitations in regards to the country of origin.

I'll only believe it when I have it on my bench, but I'm the winner of week #21.

One more amongst EEVblog viewers/members. :)

I'll post some pics when I receive it. They said it could take a few weeks though.. :(

Hmm, it was just before the last week of the contest, so I believe 12th~19th of Jan.

Just one question, if I may - When did they notify you of your win?

I put in a hail Mary at the last moment myself... at least I think I got it in at the deadline. Don't expect to win one though.
