Except a door. Doors will be pretty good at stopping Aire.
Also, they make a big deal about using it to check on the elderly, however most falls happen in the bathroom, where the door is also likely to be shut.
As for checking on pets, well, I don’t care how quiet they claim it is (or how little downwash it produces), I guarantee it’s still going to freak the hell out of a lot of pets. (High speed motors, especially ones with blades attached, produce sounds above human hearing.)
As for telepresence, I can’t imagine the battery lasts more than 10 minutes per charge for a drone that size. (I get 15 out of my Parrot Bebop, on a good day.) You’d be better off hooking a Raspberry Pi to a Roomba, with a camera on a stick attached.
I just don’t see any really valid use cases for this. For what it costs, you could easily place WiFi cameras in every room.

I'm sure it would suck up (or blow) allot of things given it's ugly tubular shape (creating a wind tunnel), including but not limited to: large insects, pet birds, drapes, dangling pull-cords, paper, dust balls, hair, exc.

I'd love to get one for my 96 year old Grandfather. I reckon it'd last about 3 minutes against his .303, and most of that would be the time to get it out of the safe and load it up.
As for pets, my Lab has eaten about 3 of my micro copters in the last 5 years. I can't see this being any different (just bigger and an easier target with enclosed blades so it won't "bite" him back).

Would be interesting to see this thing crash while it tries to fly up the stairs in my house. I guess we had no accessibility standards in 1930, and large stairs are wasted space in a house.

Watch it be stupid enough to run into a piece of glass or something. I bet it would even try to spy on you in the shower or getting dressed if you're home alone and leave the door open. Wouldn't surprise me with this kind of slapped together I.O.T. garbage. :-DD

Look, we put an alexa in a trashcan, and we stapled a drone on top of it. Give me 50.000 USD to develop a 1500 USD product. Methinks injunction molds alone are going to cost more than 50.000.

No surprise there, the battery life alone made it a non-starter for the stated purpose. I'm sure the hardware could be useful in various niche situations but not domestic home security. Fixed IP cameras are a far better solution for home monitoring, you can easily monitor many locations at once inconspicuously, 24 hours a day.

I have a tiny little Nano QX multirotor I fly indoors. Some of the cats are terrified of it and hide, others stalk it but then seem unsure whether they are the predator or the prey. A cat we used to have would get aggressive, hiss at it and swat it out of the air if it got too close.
