As a Japanese, this guy speaks English REALLY well. And I bet he speaks either Mandarin or Cantonese equally well.
I'm being jealous >:D...

Bunnie (Dr. Andrew Haung) is American and sounds as if has picked up a slightly Asian accent in the last fewyears.
Here he is on the Amp Hour, 4 years ago: http://www.theamphour.com/the-amp-hour-84-bunnies-bibelot-bonification/

Dave/Chris it would be well worthwhile to get him on again.

I took a brief walk through that marketplace a few years ago. What a fustercluck, piles upon piles of cheap toys, stuffed animals, and keychain terrariums...

EDIT: Wrong marketplace, ignore my comment.  :palm:

And farting monkeys?
I didn't take it apart.
I turned it on.

The only stupid question is, well, most of them...

Save a fuse...Blow an electrician.

when exactly is the last time you walk through the marketplace in Shenzen? Based on your description, I sounds like you were in the slum. Shenzen is one of the most developed city in China. Market like that should disappear 5 years ago in Shenzen.
the key to make money from electronics is to control the prototyping budget. Choose PCBWay

Ah shit, you're right. I mixed up the YiWu market and the ShenZhen market.  :palm: :-[ That was back in 2009, not sure how I managed to confuse the two...

I'm curious as to why anyone would want to go there in person for small quantities of stuff.  You can make deals online just fine and you communicate in written English which seems to work better for all involved.

Puzzle by some of the comments here.  Are they on the right forum?  Is that not the Mecca for electronics nerds?  I do not see myself needing the volume, and I can buy comfortably on Taobao but one day if my schedule permits, I MUST be there.
