I haven't seen this already published, thus:

It seems legit and doable. Thoughts?

Oh, the "whys" of the datasheets... The information is there not to be an axiomatic truth, but instead each speck of data must be slowly inhaled while carefully performing a deep search inside oneself to find the true metaphysical sense...

There's been a few times when I have been stuck trying to upload a huge file before leaving the house... Something like this on my local network would have been really handy those times.

But the more advanced features seem a bit garbage. Do they really truly expect everyone will download their app or program when sent a file using it? more likely, people will email back to the sender asking for a simple http link to download from their browser, like they are used to.

Hi there - My team and I created the sndrBlock and I'd love to talk about any questions you have.

Let's talk about the http link / native app facet - The core of our entire platform revolves around strong crypto, at least AES 256 on the symmetric side and vetted safe curve ECC on the asymmetric side. The current state of WebCrypto across browsers is not so optimal based on our testing. You can somewhat get AES 128 to work reliably across browsers but hardware acceleration is still questionable. For small stuff this may not matter but when you're talking GiB sized files the user experience is not so great. So that's really the need for a native program: hardware crypto accel and stronger crypto. As soon as webcrypto satisfies our core crypto requirements for crypto across the majority of browsers then it will be as simple as an https link.

As far as the features, I'd like to understand why you don't find them appealing. Part of this phase of our small company is to understand and build on top of what we have created so far.
