I have my opinion but curious what the other tech heads think!

There is no technical problem with it. The question is how they'll figure it out with banks for EMV to work. Other issue is that similar cards in the past caused funny looks and misunderstandings at the points of sale.

no technical problems?

BTLE in that form factor?  I doubt it.

Location tracking and remote wipe? once it's out of BTLE range how would you do that?  Unless they are calling location tracking asking your credit card company where the card was last used and remote wipe simply disabling the card if not connected to your phone for ??? hours.

also I don't think the energy density for a lithum ion battery in that form factor is there.  Lithium Iion is about 200-600 Wh/L  0.8mm thick, minus minimum plastic for structure and battery packaging doesn't leave much room.

But, in any case, I asked so that people might throw out some actual technical knowledge rather than blanket "it doesn't have any technical problems"

Their design images appear to show flex circuitry with actual chips on board which would be way too thick, what other methods of direct incorporation of the die onto flex would work well?

Also their domain name was registered in April, and there is no contact information anywhere which is always fishy.

however, they must be legit as there are other ones out there like Plastc, and COIN...

They may ship something that provides the basic functions, but I'd say they have about as much chance of meeting their promises as Plastc
And that has become a very low probability:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/geoffreymorrison/2017/04/29/plastc-card-is-cancelled-the-dangers-of-crowd-funding-tech/

The sample flex PCB they show is clearly not going to be 0.8mm thick, but the tech to get there is becoming available, it just needs to mature a bit more...
A BTLE module that is 0.9mm thick is due to start shipping this week: http://www.mouser.com/new/Taiyo-Yuden/taiyo-yuden-eyshsnzwz-module/
Ultra thin Lithium batteries of a reasonable capacity are available (35mAh in 0.45*37*30 mm): http://www.powerstream.com/thin-primary-lithium.htm

I think I will be waiting until it is offered free with my Amex account :-DD

That's because they just changed the brand name. This is the company behind it: http://brilliantts.com/home/index.html
Why would the flex circuit be too thick? I worked with a similar company (at one of their suppliers) and they used a flex circuit and low profile chips (sub 0.4mm was the target). The microcontroller was bonded as a bare die on the circuit and glob topped.

I have this card, it is a OTP generator not a credit card. This card can also do NFC and it does have normal chip card contact pads on the other side. I guess you can run any software on those cards, but my card does not have BLE...
