I would dearly love to test out that LED with a spectrophotometer... they claim 98CRI? And at 3200k and 5600k? That matches or exceeds the very best I've seen from specialist phosphor labs that make very niche LED's. And they are using smaller packages with single dies. When you get to these packages, they are just so inefficient, it seems, with light extraction and thermals. It's the "Chinese sledgehammer" approach to LED design.. just tossing on more and more dies and pouring a silicon phosphor mix over the top.
Cheap, yes. High efficiency? No way. High CRI? I don't see how.
