Title: Nixie Tap campaign is live!
Post by: dino on March 19, 2019, 06:36:39 pm
Hello,

The campaign for the clock from this topic (http://www.eevblog.com/forum/oshw/nixie-tap-an-esp8266-nixie-clock/) is now live!

My goal, when designing, was to have a minimalist Nixie clock, with premium materials: walnut and wood.

Features are:
- ESP8266 based
- direct drive (no multiplexing), with HV5812
- onboard RTC
- capacitive touch button
- USB powered

The production files are on Github repo (https://github.com/mladendinic/nixietap), and more info is on Hackaday.io page (https://hackaday.io/project/27349-nixie-tap).
Still need to make instructions for transformer winding though.

There are kits, as well as assembled versions, so please check it out on Crowdsupply:

Just a reminder - the campaign will end in less than 48 hours. As of now, the campaign stands at 92%, so, if you wanted to pledge, now's the time :)
