Since they are already selling them in China, this must be one of the safest Kickstarters ever  ;D

A friend has one of the ticwatches, they are very nice, no point waiting for the crappy generic version to show up if an Android Wear watch appeals to you. These ones already support NFC according to the tmall listing (not sure what you'd want that for though... metro tickets and Android pay?)

The early bird deal is great value considering that the China price is substantially higher than that (about $175 for ticwatch E on tmall)!

I have the Ticwatch 2. It works. They produce firmware updates every month. They have a beta path. There is a Chinese version of the firmware and an international version.
It still a work in progress but so far I'm happy with the watch.
The new versions are Android Wear 2.0 based, the older ones are a custom Android Wear 1.0 modified.
Probably the S and E are already packaged ready to ship.
They use Kickstarter for the visibility. :)
