Title: DipTrace Tutotial - looks promising!
Post by: Electro Fan on April 26, 2018, 04:32:04 am
I started looking at some of the alternative programs.  Read about several (proprietary, open source, client, web-based, free, trial, limited/fee-based, etc) and then recently downloaded one of the popular candidates - it was kinda cool but seemed a little less than highly intuitive.

After watching this I think it is the next program up to bat - looks pretty good:

If you haven’t found your program yet and haven’t seen a DipTrace tutotial yet this is worth watching. Maybe other programs start out hard and then get easy, and maybe DipTrace starts out easy and then gets hard but this really does look pretty promising - especially if you want something that uses a keyboard and mouse in a familar manner.

I really find Diptrace a very affordable alternative.

It has an interface that works and is understandable and the seem to take the community and suggestions pretty serious (can't say that from some other alternatives)
I am extremely curious what the next update is going to bring us.

DipTrace works for me.

(For non-profit/maker you can get a 500 pin licence if you ask nicely.)
