<apologies, I'm dumping a couple of weeks' worth of DT annoyances today>
This may be a Diptrace FAQ, but I could not find it.
I sometimes put parts inside the footprint of other parts. For example, I might put a little QFP or SOIC right inside a DIP outline for the same part, so that I can fit either part when I populate the board. Another situation might be trying to fit a passive or two under some object where you know it will fit because the first object is elevated off the board.
Anyway, if I do this, often can no longer "grab" the part I want in order to move it; DipTrace always grabs the top part. Eagle solved this by letting your round-robin through all the 'things' your mouse could be over. How is this done in DT?
One solution is temporarily moving the covering part, but that messes up routing?
