Lovely! Downgraded to scam. >:D Let's see how many backers will support Solus after all the public debunking.

Reported to Indiegogo - we’ll see what happens.

A day on Indiegogo and zero backers so far, although I suspect it had been up for a couple of days prior to when I discovered it.

Even worse, if you want it in white, they'll scam you an extra 10 bucks!

They are back at it again, but this time claiming only 30% savings, and far less egregious claims in general.

Solus Plus? The next model will be Solus Ultra saving up to 10%. After that Solus NG will give you -20%. >:D

It looks like the Graphene's 800% efficiency wasn't true after all, who'd have guessed. :horse:

The 30% saving will come from the app telling you how much the leccy is costing so you keep turning it off!

A Solus Free Energy converting the heat in your room into electric power would be nice. No more expensive AC and high power bills. ;D

Paint a whole room with Solus Grapheme Paint Pro: it will absorb thermal radiation and reflect it by amplified 800%.

Was it even graphene anyway? All of the reading Ive done suggests that graphene is a 2D lattice of carbon atoms - i.e. a single layer. The paste which they seem to be applying in their videos would suggest a 3D structure instead, and hence not graphene.

Others have posited that they are just using the term because its a buzzword.

They've been shipping for 10 days, but nobody admits receiving one yet.

The best way of shaving 100% off your next heating bill is to turn it off altogether. Buy sweaters.

If I don't have a heating bill, how do I get 80% off?

The 1st happy customer has turned up.

"jarkko.haverinen 6 hours ago
Hi! Just got my Black Solus+ panels! There is a drilling template that on the bottom says “read instructions fully before installation” – where are the instructions? I can’t find them physically neither on your website.

I got 2 x M2 panels in black. Why are the sensors white?
I also wrote you that I need a remote controller, when do I get one?"

and another!

"Brian Reho 5 minutes ago
Just like jarkko, haverinen, I received my Solus+ today also, but NO INSTRUCTIONS. The way the single paper template lines up with the Solus+ mounting bracket, is a mystery to me. Doesn’t make sense. Otherwise, the heater is very nice. It has some little white plastic controller that does something I suspect. Not having ANY instruction or manual, it too is a mystery."

The first switch ons, they need 'running in'. :-DD

Pascal Pettenkofer 5 hours ago
Hi, Heater looks great! I received a white version of the sensor with my black Solus M2. Can I get a black sensor too please. Also I have noticed that when powering on my Solus draws 530 W.
Thank you.

Dear Pascal, that's great to hear! Please leave the units to run for 48h. They should slowly return to rated input. All units will experience this during the first 48h of operation. If you don't see that happening, there may be an issue with workmanship and we will send you a replacement! Thank you

More likely a burn-in, hopefully without smoke and fire. :D Anyhow, I would expect the manufacturer to run the burn-in as part of the QA process before shipping the product.

Oh no, the product is functioning more than we expected, how dare it! Bring it in so we can retard it down to it's feeble useless rating! >:D ::)

You mean, it can actually convert electrical power into heat? Now who would have thought...?!  :o

(Oh, it can't get more heat out of a given amount of electrical power than any other old heater?
Wait... did they claim anything along those lines, maybe...?)
