Component Attributes Editor?
« on: September 16, 2016, 02:07:58 pm »
Is there a way to edit component attributes as a table view?
I can use an ULP to export them to excel... but then I'll be adding numbers and specs that really should be in the design file (or even lbr).

Or do I need to ulp my own?

Hm i don´t know if you can. On the website i found just these two mentioned in the FAQ (https://cadsoft.io/support/faq/).

Renumber components in the layout — cmd-renumber.ulp
Access to Farnell's components data base — designlink.ulp

Maybe the data base is something you could use, but i never tried it.

Hi Jeroen,

I hope you're doing well. There currently isn't a ULP that can give you a table view of all of the components in your design with their respective attributes that is editable.

However the BOM-EX download on our website has a ULP that can make it easy to assign the same attribute to multiple parts. You can also add attributes in the library.

If I've misunderstood what you are trying to do please correct me.

Best Regards,
Jorge Garcia

Did you try to do it using the framework?

Try:

BOM-EX might do what you need.
