Title: Eagle PCB for 4-layers add 2; 3Layers _Restrict for internal two layers.
Post by: Jefferson on November 19, 2016, 01:41:10 pm
Hi All!
There is a need in Eagle PCB for 4-layers add 2; 3Layers _Restrict for internal two layers.
That does not exist for the installation.

Create a new layer and name 2Layers _Restrict not a problem,
but as he screwed function _Restrict, ... can anyone know?

Thanks.

Hello Jefferson,

I hope you're doing well. There are currently now restrict layers available for the inner layers. Naming a layer with the word restrict in it, won't do anything.

The best that you can do at the moment is draw a cutout polygon on the inner layers to not fill part of a polygon. This is pretty easy to do, just draw a polygon and then look at it's properties set the fill type to cutout.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you or if I have misunderstood the question.

Best Regards,
Jorge Garcia
