looking for footprint TACT_PANA-EVQ
« on: May 01, 2017, 01:49:33 AM »
So I was searching for a TINY enough through hole momentary switch, and this one looks good. https://www.adafruit.com/product/1489. now i just need the eagle footprint. In the board file for the piTFT, a product that uses this switch, it says that it is in the "microbuilder" library, and the footprint name is TACT_PANA-EVQ but any Microbuilder I have come across does not have it.

Does anyone know of a library with this footprint?
Anyone know of an alternative through hole button that is same size or smaller?
Just me and my scope.

Can't find many details on the part, but it seems to be a standard half-width 6mm SPST momentary push switch.

I found a suitable footprint in the adafruit library under SWITCH_PUSHBUTTON with package TACT_PANA-EVQ.

Also if you can't find a suitable part in libraries in the future, get used to creating your own. It isn't too difficult for one off simple parts like this.
