hi everyone i think there is a way to do this i just can't figure it out.  i want to make a custom library of all my common through-hole parts @ 1/4watt res. , 16mhz crystal, 5mm led, pics ect. i just can not figure out how to move already made parts into my custom library does anyone know how i could do this? ill post the library when i finish for everyone to use.

Jason, If you have your custom library open in the library editor, then go back to the control panel and find the part in the library you want.  Right click that item and select copy to library.  That part will then be copied to your custom library.  Hope that helps.

if you go to the eagle download page for ulp's there is a script called exp-project.lbr.ulp run it from the schematic and it'll export all your parts in that schematic to a .lbr if you run it from a board, it'll only output the mechanical parts of the project.
