v7 Eagle license usable on v8? Untrustworthy chat support?

I almost feel scammed.

Went through the chat support on Autodesk's website and they had requested my account information, serial number and installation code for my v7 license. Then they directed me to the v8 download and were of no use on to how to apply my code.

I feel like the chat rep just ripped off my serial number and installation code.

This is what happens when hobbyist/small business products are taken over by companies that don't like hobbyists or small business.

I hope you're doing well. EAGLE is still very new at Autodesk and so we are slowly spreading through the various departments and they are becoming more and more aware of us. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you need your license resent just e-mail me [email protected] and include your V7 serial number(usually starts with a 6 or a 7). I'll forward your credentials to the e-mail we have for you on file.

I'm an Eagle V7 Ultimate licensee, am I eligible for Eagle 8?
