fps gt-511c3 library for teensy 3.2

I have an fps gt-511c1r fingerprint scanner(https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13007), and i was trying to use it with teensy 3.2. But the fingerprint scanner does not seem to communicate with the teensy board. I so far have come to realize that the library i am using is written for arduino uno. Can someone please provide me with the library compatible with teensy 3.2, or help me edit my library for the same?I have attached the library i am using. Please even small amount of help would mean a lot.(the FPS_GT511C3.txt is actually .cpp file.I attached it just because .cpp couldnt be attached).
