Doubt in the dimensions in the datasheet

I am creating a footprint for the opamp LM358. I referred the datasheet for the dimensions. There  I saw one dimension as 8*0.48. I couldnot understand what this 8* is. I have attached the image below. Kindly clarify the doubt

All eight (*8) pads have the same dimensions.
