Perhaps some of the native speakers can help me out since I am losing fluency in my native tongue after being so many years abroad
An interesting discussion at work sparked a comparison of CAD terminology in English to Finnish and German.
While some terms definitely translate literally (or figuratively) I cannot for the life of me remember some of the German words...
I wonder if I actually ever learned the German term since I feel completely comfortable using the English word in a German sentence.

"Silk screen" - ??
"paste mask" - ??
"trace" - ?? (Leiterbahn? sounds so strange to my ears... >.<)
"Via" - "Durchkontaktierung"
"Solder (stop) mask / solder resist" - "Lötstopmaske"
"Screen printing" - "Siebdruck"
"Slot" - "Langloch"
"Ground plane" - "Massefläche"
