PADS Maker Pro

What's the latest information on DigKey's PADS Maker Pro. All the information I see dates back to May 2017. There were lots of skeptics then. Are there any new opinions about the usefulness of this product? Thanks - jim

The lack of replies gives one indication.

Digikey has just donated to KiCad, and is releasing a KiCad parts library, see
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/kicad/digi-key-open-sources-alpha-version-of-an-atomic-parts-library/

So given PADS Maker Pro, was a crippled version of PADS, with no ASCII recovery paths, no scripts, closed binary files, and poor migration, I'd guess it's close to a dead duck now.

The newest KiCad has better Eagle import, so that's another EDA vendor who will be wondering if they made the right calls....
