Schematic drawing software or website
« on: October 22, 2017, 02:22:04 pm »
I'm just a hobbyist, and don't do projects very often.  But when I need to share a circuit with someone, my hand-drawn schematics aren't the best option. Actually, they look pretty good, but it just takes time to start over for every change.

So I need a (free) schematic drawing program for Windows, or an online site that provides that function.  I would rather avoid software that has board layout included, simply because that would be complete overkill and take up too much space.

I tried something called TinyCAD, but didn't like the way it looked.  Also, I would like to be able to use generic symbols without being required to pick a specific part.  And mandatory pin numbers aren't useful.

And finally, I want to be able to resize the entire drawing, both for printing and for exporting as a PNG.

If anyone knows of something along these lines, I'd appreciate your suggestion.  Thanks very much.
