LT-SPICE: Can't find definiton of
« on: December 08, 2017, 04:28:58 pm »
Hi guys,

I'm walking into troubles with LT-SPICE. I try to define a parameter, but it seems not to work. I get the pop-up message 'Can't find definition of "RES1"', while I believe it has been defined properly. Does anybody knows the solution to this problem? I am using the latest version of LT-SPICE ("Oct 24 2017"), which I run in WINE under Ubuntu 16.04. The circuit is attached and the SPICE code is as follows:

Code: [Select]
Version 4
SHEET 1 880 680
WIRE 128 192 0 192
FLAG 0 272 0
FLAG 128 272 0
SYMBOL voltage 0 176 R0
WINDOW 3 36 68 Left 2
SYMATTR InstName V1
SYMATTR Value 2
SYMBOL res 112 176 R0
SYMATTR InstName R1
SYMATTR Value Res1
TEXT 32 120 Left 2 !.param Res1=1
TEXT -32 296 Left 2 !.tran 10u
