Using text letters as PCB outline and cut-outs

I would like to use my new CNC machine to create a birthday card for my brother, and have the text form the outline of the PCB. 

Something like
Happy
Birthday
Bro

or something equally naff.  Is it possible to add text to the PCB and have Altium automatically create a polygon outline for the board and also automatically create polygons for the cut-outs (i.e. cut out the enclosed parts of the a p d B & o)? 

Or... would it be best to put the text on a mechanical layer and get the CNC software to create the geometry?

This sounds like a job for a vector graphics tool that can export a dxf.  Maybe Inkscape?  I know CorelDraw and Illustrator will do the job if you don't mind a paid solution. 

If you want to make the PCB function you can import the dxf into a mechanical layer in Altium and design around it, otherwise just pull it directly into your CAM tool.
