Hello all, this thread is related to another thread I posted and got great help with.
I have a gate driver and I want the gate voltage to control a CMOS switch that is 0-5V
The problem is that I can't access the 'gate trigger signal' from the gate driver (ie the 0-3.3/5V signal I get from the DSP), so Im stuck with looking at the full -10V - +15V gate voltage.
Is there a way to convert this signal to 0-5V? I thought of a voltage divider and a diode, as I dont need much current to control these switches (

But even here I can only get -0.6V to 5V and Im not sure the switch will take that negative voltage as in the data sheet it says that it can take -0.3V at a max
Otherwise, I have to include another optical fibre terminal and additional pulse from my DSP. Actually the board I built has this but I would like very much to save space.
