Face Book is using software to biometric recordings.

Face Book is using facial recognition software to recognized all the faces on Face Book.  If the EEVblog is on Face Book, then any faces on it will be biometric software measured and recorded.  It will be the world's largest facial recognition data base.  We should only post electronics instrument images, no human faces?  Face Book's biometric program upon photographs of people's faces have been a subject of debate here in the U.S.A.

The DOW slump this week on Greece and U.S.A.'s debt woes and went back up today upon speculation.  I thought the Germans helped Greece, minus the invasion upon Crete, that was the past.  Greece have some serious riots over the slump a year ago, riots in Athens and many office buildings and shops ruined and few people died in the riots.  France have unemployment youths running the streets burning automobiles parked in protest.  This is very scary for me to see all of this from my web surfing box and large LG display panel.  This not a comedy.  I am scared.  Why cannot we re live the dot com again?  I have a hard time to believe that the slump is all about American houses foreclosed.  These are just houses, a wooden box that needs painting.  What happened to the American Dream and California Patio Lifestyle?   I have taken the American Dream class at San Jose State U. that taught me what is and was the American Dream and the meaning to be an American.   My former professor have this website: http://teotw.net

As far I know Face Book stopped this software about face recognition.  
I had the idea that this was an helpful tool    so to help me to find a nice free girl with nice blue eyes too.    

About Greece and USA , if we blow up, the American banks will blow up too.

The truth is, noone cares about you. Unless you are a threat to some status quo or they can profit from you then you are safe. Cameras in toilets? Sure, do you think you have something special the world has not seen before?..

About the points raised, facial recognition database? How about 7 CCTV cameras per head in the UK only? How is that for face recognition database? You can delete them now, but they are forever online on some server's hard drive. Yes, the consequences of taking a picture at the beach in the summer will be severe indeed.

I don’t have anything to hide and of course the pictures will still be on any server. Everything we do on the internet is saved in any server!
I’m not worry with the governments having this information. I just don’t want to give such power to everyone in the world for free.

I agree with Alex and also add that if it is made public and free it prevents governments from using the technology covertly, not that i care. From what i have seen, Facebooks attempt at this technology is a long way from perfect anyway. Looks more like a gimmick to me.
