LED display driver. it seems to me microchip pinout is wrong. Is it?

Hello there,

If you look at the pin outs for either package. It says that the 1000's digit has a pin called AB4. I assume they are saying to parallel segment a and b. But then It wouldn't be a 3 1/2 digit driver. It would display the top and right-top segment, and not the right-top and right-bottom segment forming the decimal number 1.

Surely the pin should have been called BC4? And have they got the rest of the segments messed up as well? Or are they using a different kind of system than the one I am using (Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven-segment_display)

Problem solved

X 1/2 displays have special annotation for the first letter.

A and b refers to the two halves of digit 1.M
