DE0 Nano SOC
« on: March 29, 2016, 09:00:28 pm »
Hello,

I've done some work with FPGA's at school using just VHDL to create things like calculators with LCD displays, and a MIPS processor (just a simulation without pipelining).  We used an Terasic DE2-115 board to do it.  I would like to learn Verilog and get into some SOC as a learning experience.  This would be as a learning tool and would really like to learn how to implement higher end things using IP Cores and using different peripherals and perhaps VGA video.

Any thoughts on this board in particular?
