Purfresh is the sole provider of actively enhanced atmosphere technology for the transportation of perishable goods.  Purfresh makes ocean transport a viable option even for the most sensitive cargo. Shippers of fresh produce, flowers and other high value cargo choose our patent-pending technology to mitigate risk, open new markets and reduce transport costs, while protecting valuable freight.

Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

Purpose: Manages all maintenance, manufacturing, design and defect remediation for the Purfresh Technology

Duties:

• Manage a diagnostics and maintenance operation (shop) with 2-4 maintenance techs
• Ensure high output from the maintenance team to maximize the number of Purfresh units in condition and in position to provide service
• Manage various software technologies as they relate to shop operations
• Manage and monitor GPS and satellite communication systems
• Manage and refine existing diagnostic and testing technologies and processes
• Using sound QA practices, identify root causes of common device failures and engineer effective solutions to improve mechanical, electrical and communications performance
• Manage spare parts sourcing, inventory and consumption
• Manage product design documentation
• Manage written procedures and best practices
• Manage continuous learning and development of the maintenance techs
• Monitor and report on shop operations

Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week
